Automatic Rescue Device (ARD)
The ARD is an automatic safety evacuation unit purpose-built for variable-frequency elevator systems.
Built on an advanced design philosophy, the ARD drives the elevator controller at its rated voltage to carry out a safe passenger rescue sequence.

- The controller sits inside a slim, floor-standing cabinet fitted with hinged access doors.
- Microprocessor-driven control paired with a space-vector-modulated inverter.
- Advanced battery charger supporting four modes — Trickle, Bulk, Float, and Full — operating on 3-Phase, 400 V, 50 Hz supply.
- Because it operates independently of the safety circuit, the Smart Rescue unit delivers the highest level of evacuation reliability.
- Completely isolated from all operational elevator components — motor, brake, door operator, R-Cam, and more.
